[Background] Wiki
[Personality] Mammon's name is synonymous to greed, and there is no greedier character in the series than the illusionist himself. Earning money is practically a vice for him. There is very little Mammon won't do for money, and very little he would do if money is not involved. Ask him for a favor and he'll ask you how much you'll be paying him for it. "This is too difficult" translates to "I wasn't paid enough for this" in Mammon-speak. He hates leaving debts unpaid and is constantly keeping track of how much money he has in his account.
Very, very rare exceptions only happen when the Varia or the Arcobalenos are involved. The Varia is the assassination group Mammon belongs to, and while it's unlikely that he'll work for them without getting paid, it's equally unlikely that he can be paid to betray them. Of course, the latter might also be because he's deathly afraid of Xanxus. Mammon views his boss as being extremely powerful, and believes him to be undefeatable. Even against the Tenth Vongola's strongest and yet to be defeated guardian, Mammon holds true to his belief and unhesitatingly imposes a dangerous penalty on himself should it waver.
While Mammon holds immense respect and loyalty towards Xanxus, he doesn't hold the rest of the Varia in as high regard. Squalo he follows only because he's vice-captain, while he barely views and treats Lussuria and Levi as mere colleagues. He generally avoids the other members. Mammon gets along splendidly well with Belphegor though. He tolerates the younger boy's antics and teasing, as well his skinship. He lets the Italian touch him as he pleases--but, again, will charge him for any favor asked. His relationship with Belphegor might be the closest Mammon has ever gotten to experiencing 'friendship' however. Mammon doesn't make friends; just business partners and clients.
The only group Mammon has ever worked for without pay are the Arcobalenos. He is civil towards the others, not friendly, but will always come when summoned. Like everyone else, he gathers around whoever the current Sky Arcobaleno is. If needed, he will also do tasks for them without asking for payment. This is not without a lot of grumbling on his part however, and the others will normally need to remind him of his 'duty' as one of them. Although he will put up a token protest, it is usually easy to reason with Mammon and get him to listen. Except for Skull, who he has absolutely no qualms of ignoring and belittling just like the others do.
The duty of the Arcobaleno is something he hopes to escape from, alongside the form of a baby being an Arcobaleno has granted him. It's not easy to move in this form, and his powers are extremely stunted. Mammon loathes the curse as much as any of the others, and perhaps even more. He claims that unlike the rest of them, he has never stopped in his efforts to lift it. During the The Curse of the Rainbow Arc, Mammon has once again shown just how passionate he is about his goal. He is willing to risk everything for his freedom--his relationship with the other Arcobalenos, his life, and even all of his savings.
As an illusionist, Mammon detests physical fighting. He sees illusionists who dabble in hand combat, like Mukuro, to be heretics. He also especially dislikes Fon, the Arcobaleno who specializes in martial arts. While he normally doesn't mind working alongside physical combatants (Mammon is the only illusionist among the Varia officers before the introduction of Mukuro's protege Fran), he finds Fon talking about his martial arts training irritating. He sees it as boasting, and looking down on his own skills of illusion. In addition, he really hates how Fon picks on his spending habits, and sees it as preaching even though the other doesn't. He's likely to react the same, or worse, towards anyone else who'll try.
Among the Arcobaleno, Mammon is the second most reclusive next to the genius scientist Verde. He's able to erase his trace so well that Reborn and Colonello even thought he's dead. For this purpose, he changed his name from 'Viper' to 'Esper Mammon'. Mammon dislikes being called by his old name, with the apparent exception of Reborn.
[Specialties/Abilities] http://reborn.wikia.com/wiki/Viper#Weapons_and_Abilities
Mammon is the master illusionist of the Arcobaleno, the world's Strongest Seven. His illusions are of extremely high levels. At his strongest, he can impose conditions on the mind that once broken will deal heavy damage on the body. He can also transport people to a different illusionary plane, and summon large and dangerous eel-like creatures with gaping mouths and sharp teeth called Uroboros. For Somarium however, he'll only be able to perform the simple illusions of his infant-self. His most common ones are clones of himself and tentacles.
He also has a technique called Thoughtography, which allows him to locate any person or item by sneezing into toilet paper. The mucus turns into a map that shows the person's location.
[Affection] What type of affections are allow/disallowed and would your character do this to others?
[Fighting] Fights are OK, but please ask if you'd like to seriously maim him. Mammon is one of the Strongest Seven of his world, and will not be easy to defeat.
[Other Permissions] Please ask.
